Bio

Evan Troop is a rock, country and americana artist from Dallas, TX. Evan is also a retired Lieutenant who proudly served as an officer in the United States Navy. At 4 years of age, Evan began playing piano. He then took up drums at 11 and found his musical calling with guitar at age 18.

In 2018, Evan and Bryan recorded the Evan Troop EP at Blackbird Studios in Nashville. Evan went on to write, record, produce and release 6 singles in 2019.

In the spring of 2020, Evan began work on his second EP The Next Chapter along with producers Alex Gerst and Chris Godbey. The album was released on December 18th and received critical acclaim from numerous media sources including a featured article in American Songwriter.

In 2021, Evan began work on his first full length album Rise. The album was completed in the fall of 2021 and features highly decorated guitarist Neil Swanson as well as members of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra on 4 of the tracks.

Evan will be releasing 3 singles in the spring of 2022 with the full album scheduled to be released June 3rd of 2022. As of this writing, Evan’s music has received more than 2 million streams worldwide.
